Our Commitment

Throughout the year, members of the Smithfield Pre-Owned team visit the local police departments near the dealerships on Chicago’s northwest side and in Evanston, buying the departments’ police officers lunch and thanking them for all they do to keep our neighborhoods safe. In Evanston, that relationship has gone beyond seasonal lunches. Smithfield Pre-Owned of Evanston now leases a vehicle to Evanston’s 311 Service at no cost, and the car has become a staple at local events, from Northwestern football games to the Taste of Evanston.

Smithfield Pre-Owned’s co-owner and employees at multiple locations are former Shamrocks. Smithfield Pre-Owned attends St Patrick’s annual fundraiser, the Green and Gold Gala, as a sponsor, and is proud to support their continuing impact on the lives of young men in Chicago. There is even a Smithfield Pre-Owned banner up in the St Pat’s gym!
